The Medical Journal of the "Hipólito Unanue" Hospital in Tacna invites healthcare professionals to participate in the 2026 "Hipólito Unanue" Scientific Research Call for Proposals. This event aims to promote the generation and dissemination of health research aligned with regional and national priorities and to strengthen evidence-based medical practice.

The call for proposals, open regionally, nationally, and internationally, will be held in two phases: the first between July and September, and the second between October and December 2026. Professionals in medicine, obstetrics, pharmacy, biochemistry, psychology, nutrition, medical technology, and related fields are eligible to participate.

Selected articles will be published in the prestigious Medical Journal of the "Hipólito Unanue" Hospital in Tacna, which is indexed in Latindex and follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Submissions must be original, unpublished, and comply with the journal's publication guidelines. Furthermore, articles will be rigorously evaluated by the Editorial Committee and peer-reviewed before final acceptance.
